injury have found, to their surprise, that such programs also
increase profitability and work force productivity, according
to a survey of 45 companies by Art hur D. Little, Inc. The
management-consulting firm reported about 70 percent of those
surveyed reaped increased productivity and 30 percent reported
increases in product quality, achievements that ultimately
were reflected in the bottom line.
